The forum was attended by the Vatican delegation which included some representatives of minority Christian communities in Iraq, Syiria and Pakistan and Muslim participants including Sunni and Shittes scholars from around the world as well as reverts from the US, Canada and the UK ![]() Prof Din with Cardinal Tauran Prof Dr M. Din Syamsuddin suggested that this forum is very important because it has historical values and addressing theological problems. He acknowledged that there are certain differences among the two religions but both have some commonalities as well.
